Home Care Aide

University Home Care

Join University Home Care Inc as a Home Care Aide in Ypsilanti, MI, where you'll provide compassionate in-home support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort.
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
Monitor clients' health condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset.
Ability to communicate effectively and work compassionately with clients and their families.
Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Ypsilanti, MI.
Ability to pass background check.
