Operational Business AnalystThis role is primarily remote; however, the incumbent will be expected to travel to sites throughout Fort Worth, TX. Additional occasional travel outside of the local market may be required.The Operational Business Analyst (Site Finance) role has a national salary range of $55,000 - $90,000. You'll be responsible for auditing vendor payables, providing accurate hourly activity reporting, and providing analytical support to managers and supervisors as needed.To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a problem solver, a strategic thinker, and an expert in financial and operational analysis. You'll be confident working independently, managing priorities, and juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Job ResponsibilitiesAudit vendor payables for accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained prior to paymentExecute daily customer / vendor contract requirements and identify accessorial activity and ensure necessary documentationWork with Operations and HR department associates on a daily basis, providing support and assistance as neededProvide support to Kronos application and set-up to ensure accurate hourly activity reportingInteract with Managers and Supervisors to provide analytical support as neededDirect involvement with Accounting and Commercial Finance departmentsProvide ad-hoc analytical support to operations personnel in all areas of the operation as needed and requestedPrepare month end close accrual and reclass journal entriesAssist as needed with accounts receivable processing, collection, proper revenue reporting, and account payable processingReconcile Purchase Orders as support to expense recognitionPrepare daily and weekly labor analysis reports for operations productivity analysisParticipate in the collection of performance measurements consistent with customer, vendor, and site requirementsOwnership of balance sheets (black-line) account reconciliationsRequirementsAssociates Degree in business or equivalent 2 years equivalent work experience, requiredBachelor's Degree in business, preferredSome knowledge of Finance or accounting, preferredLogistics industry experience, preferredWorking knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles, preferredBasic accounting knowledge; P&L and balance sheetEffective communication skills; verbal & writtenAbility to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels; team playerAbility to work independently, take initiative and time managementStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong attention to detailBasic PC skill proficiency, including MS OfficeStrong presentation skillsetWillingness to travelDHL is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
