Litigation Paralegal - Chicago - (On- site)

A growing litigation practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of complex business disputes. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters from case inception through trial and resolution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview Litigation Paralegal A growing litigation practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of complex business disputes. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters from case inception through trial and resolution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, clients, and outside parties. Litigation Support Draft, prepare, and revise pleadings, motions, subpoenas, notices, and other legal documents. Assist with all phases of written discovery, including drafting and organizing interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and related responses. Conduct legal and factual research and prepare summaries for attorney review. Gather, analyze, organize, and summarize records, documents, and supporting materials. Court Filings & Docketing Management Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts using electronic filing systems. Monitor court dockets and ensure compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines. Maintain litigation calendars and track key dates, hearings, and filing requirements. Coordinate service of process and filing-related logistics. Case Management Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files. Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation events. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, vendors, and court personnel. Assist with document management, case tracking, and litigation workflow processes. Maintain accurate case information within litigation support and case management systems. Trial Preparation Support attorneys with all aspects of hearing and trial preparation. Prepare exhibit lists, trial binders, witness files, demonstratives, and other case materials. Coordinate logistics for hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials. Provide courtroom and trial support when required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience. Commercial litigation experience strongly preferred. Experience filing documents in both state and federal courts. Knowledge of electronic filing systems and court procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with document management, case management, and e-discovery platforms. Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
