Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential nursing support to students during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role runs from August 31, 2026, to June 23, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule (6.5 hours per day, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM). Based near Lakewood, WA, this position primarily involves delivering dedicated morning care to a student requiring G-tube feeding and safe transportation to and from school, ensuring continuity of care throughout the journey.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Washington State LPN license/certification
• Required fingerprint clearance through OSPI
• Previous experience as an LPN or LVN, ideally within a school or pediatric setting
• Skilled in G-tube feeding and supportive medical care for children
• Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable managing one-to-one care situations
• Strong communication and adaptability to provide support in various school environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist a student with G-tube feedings each morning, both at home and in school
• Accompany the student on the school bus to ensure safety and medical support during transit
• Collaborate with family members to coordinate care and maintain consistent communication
• Step in to support other school buildings in the afternoons, on Wednesdays (when the student is not in attendance), or whenever the student is absent
• Foster a secure, nurturing, and inclusive environment for the student and school community
