Senior Medical Director, Early Global Clinical Development

Own the clinical strategy of next-generation oncology assets from day one. We’re supporting a hire for a Senior Medical Director, Early Global Clinical Development , to lead early global development across solid tumour programs, shaping assets from preclinical through early-phase studies. Key Responsibilities Act as the medical lead and primary clinical representative for early-stage oncology programs Establish the clinical development vision for assets entering the pipeline Design and execute strategies spanning preclinical through Phase I/II Provide oversight on medical safety, study design, and benefit–risk evaluation Guide preclinical activities to support clear, clinically grounded decision-making Lead interactions with key opinion leaders, academic partners, and regulatory authorities Identify and leverage external collaborations to strengthen development programs Lead cross-functional teams to deliver aligned, high-quality outcomes Foster accountability, pace, and ownership across initiatives Requirements M.D. with board certification in Oncology, Hematology, or a related specialty 5+ years of clinical experience in oncology patient care 5+ years of industry experience, including early-stage drug development Solid understanding of oncology R&D across diverse modalities Experience contributing to or leading early-phase clinical trials Background in translational and/or clinical research (publications a plus) Experience engaging with global regulatory authorities Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across matrix teams Strategic thinker with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset Fluent in English (additional languages beneficial) #J-18808-Ljbffr Hydrogen Group
