Take over a $2M book | 12–18 month transition | Partner-level opportunity

An established and growing CPA firm is looking for a Junior Partner / Principal-level tax professional to take over and grow an existing $2M client book .

\n

\n

The portfolio is predominantly made up of business owners with complex entity structures , requiring someone who combines strong technical tax knowledge with genuine commercial ability and client ownership.

\n

\n

The existing team comes with the book, and there will be a structured 12–18 month transition before full ownership passes to the successful hire.

\n

The opportunity

• Inherit an established $2M client book
\n
• Work directly with business owners and closely held entities
\n
• Lead complex tax planning and advisory relationships
\n
• Manage and develop the existing team
\n
• Take full ownership of the portfolio over 12–18 months
\n
• Grow the book through new business development
\n
• Build additional revenue and client relationships
\n
• Operate at genuine Partner level
\n

What they’re looking for

\n

\n
• Junior Partner, Principal, Tax Director or exceptional Senior Tax Manager
\n
• Strong public accounting experience
\n
• Extensive closely held business / business-owner tax experience
\n
• Complex partnership, S Corporation and entity exposure
\n
• Proven client ownership
\n
• Strong BD / origination track record
\n
• Able to demonstrate revenue personally won or a book personally developed
\n
• Entrepreneurial and commercially driven
\n
• CPA strongly preferred
\n

$285K–$350K depending on experience.

\n
