Quality Specialist

Job Summary An award‑winning beer distributor is seeking a Quality Specialist to preserve the quality and fresh taste of draft beer through timely line cleaning service, prompt response to service calls, and backup support for keg delivery and equipment installation. This role is part of the On Premise Sales team. Schedule Monday‑Friday: 7:00 am to completion of the workday. Flexible, extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be required. Key Responsibilities Service all draft accounts and perform scheduled maintenance, including cleaning of beer lines and draft equipment. Complete service log at the end of each account visit to document chemical use and confirm the account is consumer ready. Maintain training and compliance certification by completing all required training activities. Monitor and record temperature, pressure, and freshness date; maintain current records of line cleaning and service calls for each account. Work flexible and extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications High School Degree or Equivalent Certificate Strong relationship‑building and communication skills Basic math comprehension Valid Texas Driver's License Preferred Experience Previous sales experience Prior beer/beverage industry experience Physical Requirements & Essential Functions Stand and walk for extended periods. Pull/push up to 100 lb. Off‑Premise and Transfer Driver: heavy and repetitive lifting/placement of products up to 55 lb. On‑Premise Driver: heavy and repetitive lifting/placement of products up to 165 lb. Operate in inside/outside ambient or extreme temperatures, noisy and crowded environments. Driving required during the workday. Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, and turn/pivot frequently. Use personal computer for email, data entry, and documentation. Speak, hear, and see required for communication and operating machinery, equipment, computers, and vehicles. Fine motor skills for operating computers and facility machinery. Maintain a current valid driver's license. Perform job functions in compliance with company policies, procedures, safety policies, and best practices. Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
