System Operations Specialist

Operations Systems Coordinator (WMS / Warehouse Systems) Department: Operations Reports To: Distribution Center Manager (DCM) Location: On-site (warehouse environment) About the Role We are seeking a hands‑on Operations Systems Coordinator to serve as the critical link between IT, warehouse operations, and shop floor teams. This role is ideal for someone who understands warehouse processes and systems, and enjoys troubleshooting, supporting users, and improving operational efficiency. You’ll act as the first line of support for WMS and related systems, ensuring smooth daily operations while identifying opportunities for process and system enhancements. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse system issues on the shop floor Troubleshoot order management, inventory, and location/SKU issues Partner with operations teams to resolve issues and implement preventative solutions Create, track, and elevate support tickets as needed WMS & System Coordination Support ongoing use and optimization of WMS and related systems Maintain warehouse locations, SKUs/articles, and customer setup within systems Identify process changes and ensure documentation/work instructions are updated Assist with system testing and validation during updates and releases User Support & Training Provide guidance and basic training to warehouse users on system functionality Support reporting needs and data coordination for local teams Participate in IT‑led trainings to enhance first‑level support capabilities Technical Troubleshooting Assist with troubleshooting hardware issues (RF scanners, printers, network connectivity) in partnership with IT/helpdesk Qualifications 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations (shipping/receiving, inventory, or operations management) Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Strong understanding of order management, inventory flow, receiving, and shipping processes Ability to troubleshoot system and operational issues in a fast‑paced environment Experience supporting or interacting with system configurations or customer‑specific setups is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset Primarily based on the warehouse/shop floor Frequent interaction with operations teams and corporate IT/support functions Fast‑paced, hands‑on role with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement Why This Role?
