Records & Information Management Specialist
Department of the Interior
Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:
- Recommends and implements procedures for ensuring proper record storage in a manner that is consistent with the statutes, regulations, and Department and BLM policies.
- Works with programs to establish and maintain analog and electronic records management processes.
- Maintains and implements a records management file plan that will guide record keeping and assists in record lifecycle management.
- Ensures proper storage and delivery of all Docket casefiles to programs and public and updates information in the tracking system. Includes annual storage and desk inventories.
- Completes final disposition for temporary records and oversees destruction paperwork.
