Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (IMCU/PCU) – Upstate New York

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 or 48 hours per week. Floating to other units as needed.

Highlights:

• 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neurology beds
• Diverse case mix including neurology, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Specialty equipment experience with temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune, and chronic ventilators
• Epic EMR system in use facility-wide
• Adult patient population (18 years and older)
• Collaborative environment with respiratory therapy support for ventilator management

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license (all RN licenses must be submitted and verified through NURSYS)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent IMCU/PCU experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
• Completed specialty-specific skills checklist
