About Family Services of America Family Services of America (FSA) is a CARF-accredited behavioral health and child welfare organization in Fayetteville, NC, with 14+ years of trauma-informed, evidence-based care (TFTC, SPARCS, TF-CBT). FSA operates the Journey to Home Long-Term Foster Care (LTFC) Program, an ORR-funded program providing foster care placement and wraparound services for children in care. The Opportunity The Lead Clinician oversees clinical services and supervises and trains clinical staff for FSA’s ORR Long-Term Foster Care (LTFC) Program, ensuring child-facing behavioral health services are delivered on-site and in a confidential manner. This is an ORR key personnel position requiring prior credential approval. Please note: This is a grant-funded, term-limited position for up to three years, aligned to the ORR grant cycle. Continuation is contingent on grant funding. What You Will Own Oversee the delivery of clinical and behavioral health services, ensuring services are provided on-site and confidentially. Train and supervise Clinicians and behavioral health staff, ensuring completion of relevant training on evidence-based practices. Ensure implementation of evidence-based, trauma-informed models (TF-CBT, SPARCS, TFTC) appropriate to the population. Provide clinical program oversight. Oversee crisis intervention and human-trafficking screening protocols in coordination with case management and medical staff. Participate in clinical quality assurance, case staffing, and documentation review in the EHR and UC Portal. Required Qualifications Master’s or doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or another relevant behavioral health discipline from an accredited program where clinical experience is required, including two (2) years of post-graduate direct-service experience. Must be licensed to provide clinical services in North Carolina and have supervisory experience. Must be at least 21 years of age; must pass all ORR-required background investigations (FBI fingerprint, state repository, child abuse/neglect, and DOJ Sex Offender Registry checks) and show proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable respiratory diseases. ORR prior credential approval required before assuming the position. Preferred Qualifications ORR LTFC clinical leadership experience (strongly preferred). Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Certification/training in TF-CBT, SPARCS, EMDR, or other trauma-focused modalities. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $74,800 – $88,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
