You Have: 10+ years of experience in IT Engineering Experience working in the Special Operations Community Experience with performing capacity planning and performance monitoring to proactively address potential bottlenecks and recommend scaling solutions Experience with managing complex projects from initiation to completion, while coordinating with cross-functional teams Experience with mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers Ability to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of critical enterprise IT infrastructure, including server, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments Ability to develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for systems technology evolution Ability to assist in establishing and enforcing system configuration, change management, and security policies across the server landscape TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with conducting root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents, implementing corrective and preventive measures to minimize future disruptions Experience in Windows Server or Linux operating systems Experience with architecting and implementing high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions to ensure maximum system uptime and business continuity Experience with driving automation initiatives across system deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python Experience with expert-level administration and troubleshooting of Virtualization platforms, such as VMware vSphere, or Microsoft Hyper-V Knowledge of Enterprise Storage and Backup solutions, such as SAN, NAS, object storage, Veeam, and Commvault Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management systems Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
