What youll do:

• Support / Communicate with Operations Supervisor daily to ensure production expectations are being met.
• Help run the system when needed by Operations.
• Report contamination received to carriers with photo documentation
• Provide ticket information monthly to carriers
• Enforce PPE and sign in/out procedure. Greets visitors to plant contacts appropriate staff when visitors arrive.
• Facilitate front office duties ship/receive parcels and mail maintain voicemail etc.
• Enter all shipping information into reports as needed
• Maintain shared folder information for staff
• Support scale for lunch breaks sick time vacation
• Review night shift tasks are complete fill in where necessary
• Communicate with carriers on updates to company policy
• Ensure weight limits are met for each outgoing shipment
• Reschedule trucks as needed
• Advise the next shift of any special instructions carrying over from day shift
• Provide training to new scale personnel as required.

Whats required:

• 13 years in customer service dispatch or logistics (prior experience in waste management/environmental services is preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel Outlook) and customer portal or dispatch software and ability/willingness to work with new software (i.e. Google)
• Strong problem-solving skills high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced operational environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant certifications or coursework in logistics/environmental fields are a plus.
