Step into the hub of field operations
We design and build custom manufacturing equipment for clients with unique production needs. As the Industrial Equipment Service Operations Lead, you connect our engineering team with customers in the field, making sure every installation, repair, and tune-up delivers peak machine performance.
A day in the roleYou’ll kick off the morning aligning schedules and priorities with field service technicians. Midday might find you on a remote PLC session diagnosing an electrical fault, then jumping to a customer site to oversee a critical install. Throughout, you’ll coordinate parts, enforce safety, and keep communication flowing with clients and engineers.
What you’ll tackle- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of field technicians—set schedules, guide development, and support performance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical (PLC) issues—remotely or on-site.
- Own service operations: plan and coordinate equipment installations, warranty work, and preventative maintenance at customer facilities.
- Be the customer’s go-to contact for service needs, ensuring rapid response and minimal downtime.
- Quote service and repair work, order replacement components, and manage tools and spare parts inventory.
- Champion safety practices across field and shop activities, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA standards.
- 5+ years hands-on troubleshooting in industrial systems or heavy machinery.
- 2+ years leading teams—supervisor, lead tech, or service management experience.
- Expertise with hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, proportional valves, and PLC controls.
- Fluency reading hydraulic circuitry and electrical schematics.
- Clear, confident communicator who can translate complex technical topics for customers.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for key installs and challenging diagnostics.
- Preferred: Technical degree in fluid power or mechanical engineering technology, or industry certifications (e.g., IFPS).
