Construction General Laborer Full-Time Milwaukee, WI Field / On-Site Position Overview As a General Laborer, you will support our construction crews on active job sites throughout the Milwaukee area. This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role that plays a critical part in keeping our projects moving safely and on schedule. Whether you are new to construction or a seasoned laborer, if you show up ready to work and take pride in what you do, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters + painters) with day‑to‑day tasks on active construction sites Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas Perform site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized job site at all times Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision (drills, saws, vacuums, etc.) Erect and dismantle dust protection, barricades, and temporary structures Follow all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company protocols Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project managers Requirements Ability to perform physically demanding work Capability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 80 lbs. regularly Reliable transportation to Milwaukee‑area job sites Valid driver’s license required with clean driving record Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively Willingness to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors Punctual, dependable, and safety‑conscious attitude Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in construction or a labor‑intensive trade (not required — we will train the right candidate) OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay — commensurate with experience Overtime not required Paid time off and holidays Health, Life, Vision, and Dental insurance On‑the‑job training and opportunities for advancement into skilled trade roles Work with an experienced, close‑knit crew that looks out for one another How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
