Systems Administrator 2 with Security Clearance

Job Overview Nightwing delivers advanced cyber operations, data intelligence, and systems integration services across the intelligence, defense, civil, and commercial sectors. We seek a Systems Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning. Manage daily configuration and operation activities of IT systems. Assist users in accessing and using IT systems. Diagnose and resolve IT system issues with tier‑1 help desk and tier‑2 escalation support. Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets. Support the dispatch system and hardware issues, remaining involved in resolution. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install and load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components to improve reliability and performance. Support design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware. Qualifications Typically requires ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, and a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree. DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level II is required. Experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible. Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Salary & Benefits The salary range for this position is $122,000 to $253,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise.
