Recruiter Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced, independent recruiter based in Central Indiana to partner with us on an as-needed basis. This is a contract position ideal for someone who enjoys sourcing skilled talent and has an established network in manufacturing, construction, skilled trades, or industrial operations. You'll work directly with our team to identify, screen, and recommend qualified candidates for a variety of positions as hiring needs arise.

What You'll Do

• Source qualified candidates using your network and recruiting tools.
• Screen applicants and conduct initial phone interviews.
• Present qualified candidates with interview notes and recommendations.
• Assist with creating and posting job advertisements.
• Coordinate candidate communications and interview scheduling.
• Help fill positions ranging from skilled trades and field personnel to office and leadership roles.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Previous recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, construction, engineering, or skilled trades.
• Strong sourcing and networking abilities.
• Experience recruiting through Gusto, LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, and other job platforms.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple open positions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network of skilled trades and industrial professionals.
• Experience recruiting contract and direct-hire positions.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Experience supporting small or growing businesses.

Compensation

This is an independent contractor (1099) position with flexible hours. Compensation may be structured on an hourly basis, per placement, or a combination of both, depending on experience and the scope of each search.

Location

Candidates should be based in Central Indiana. While much of the work can be performed remotely, occasional in-person meetings may be required.
