Job Summary:
The position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an inpatient setting located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This healthcare professional will provide specialized speech-language therapy services across acute inpatient, acute rehabilitation, skilled, and outpatient units. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Details:

• Location: Rice Lake, Wisconsin
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Schedule: Standard daytime hours with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensure to submit, BLS Certification, minimum of 3 years of experience recommended, experience in acute inpatient, outpatient, and inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Marshfield within the last 6 months and ability to note this in the submission.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidate must have a valid license to submit and be eligible to work in the specified location.
  • The EMR system used is Cerner.
  • The clinician's experience should include dysphagia, video swallow studies, cognitive decline, CVA, Parkinson's disease, with exposure to acute inpatient, outpatient, and skilled settings.
  • Self-scheduling is not permitted for outpatient but is allowed for inpatient needs.
  • The department offers onsite orientation on day one, with support from other speech-language pathologists as needed.
  • Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
  • The candidate must note any prior employment with Marshfield, with an end date at least six months before submission if applicable.
