- Shift: Day Shift (8 Hours)
- Guaranteed Hours: 32 Hours/Week
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days)
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Pre-Op: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Other shifts:
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (or until the last patient is discharged)
- No weekends
- No holiday shifts
- Unit is closed every other Monday for elective cases
Candidate Requirements
- RN with Pre-Op and Post-Op (PACU) experience
- Previous travel experience required
- Team player with strong organization, flexibility, and communication skills
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Unit Information
- 20-bed Pre-Op/PACU
- Charge RN assists with lunch coverage
- 1–2 Nurse Aides daily
- Black scrubs provided

- General Surgery
- Gynecology
- Orthopedics
- Podiatry
- Urology
- Ophthalmology
- Hand Surgery
- Pain Clinic
- Endoscopy
Responsibilities
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- PACU recovery monitoring
- Telemetry monitoring in PACU and procedure rooms
- Rare titration of Labetalol
- May float to the OR if experienced (not required)
Charting System
- Cerner
Additional Information
- Local candidates within 80 miles accepted at a reduced rate
- One-hour callback time
- BSN not required
- License required at submission
- Facility may cancel up to 12 hours during the 13-week contract
