The role... GlobalData is looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our New York office. As the primary IT contact for the office, you'll provide hands-on technical support to employees, including senior leadership, while working closely with our global IT team. You'll ensure users receive a high level of service, maintain office technology, and contribute to IT projects and continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities Provide first and second-line IT support to local and remote users. Build, deploy and support Windows and macOS devices. Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and Exchange Online. Resolve helpdesk tickets within agreed service levels. Manage IT hardware, software and asset inventory. Set up meeting rooms and support business-critical meetings. Onboard and offboard employees, including device provisioning and account setup. Work with third-party vendors to resolve hardware and software issues. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements. Work closely with the UK on Infrastructure projects and support tickets What We're Looking For Excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience supporting Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Basic knowledge of networking and endpoint management. A proactive, organised approach with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global IT team. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. To support the needs of our New York office, this role also includes: Additional Responsibilities Providing VIP support to senior executives, including the CEO and leadership team. Acting as the local IT lead for office technology and infrastructure. Managing IT assets and coordinating hardware procurement. Supporting cybersecurity initiatives and device compliance. Assisting with global IT projects and technology rollouts. Providing occasional out-of-hours support for business-critical events.
