Your Role and Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic examinations, and developing customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating various health issues, whether acute, episodic, or chronic, in conjunction with physicians or autonomously (as per your credentials)
• Instructing patients and their families on preventative measures, wellness strategies, and health management
• Prescribing medications and treatment modalities as per your practice authority
• Involved in follow-up patient care and chronic disease management
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and integrated care
• Recording detailed and accurate information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
