Director Finance

Director Finance Dalton, Georgia, United States, 30721 The Director Finance is a high‑level leader that oversees finance and accounting activities. It involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives and long‑term financial sustainability. Collaborate with senior leadership to establish financial goals, objectives, and performance metrics. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational plans. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address audit findings. Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure timely adoption and compliance. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis. Conduct in‑depth financial analysis and performance reviews to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Support strategic decision‑making through data‑driven analysis and recommendations. Perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience. 10+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. 5+ years of management experience. Additional Information Occasional travel may be required. This position will have direct reports.
