Quick Facts Location: 401 West Mohawk Drive, Tomahawk, WI Start Date: 08/08/2026 End Date: Ongoing/Negotiable Shift: Mostly single coverage shifts with some overlap, flexible schedule Hours per Week: Over 20 shifts/month open Employment Type: Locum Licenses/Certs: Wisconsin Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Active ACLS/ATLS/PALS Experience: Preferred 1+ years Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $150/hour (orientation rate) Benefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, travel, and other reimbursements, robust referral bonus program, 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide emergency medical care at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital and regional facilities Manage a patient population with an admission rate around 20% Collaborate with APCs during double coverage shifts Utilize electronic medical records efficiently in a fast-paced environment Contribute to high-quality patient outcomes in a community-focused hospital Engage in a flexible schedule that allows for outdoor and recreational activities in the stunning Northwoods What You Need Wisconsin Medical License & DEA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Active certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS 1+ year ER experience preferred Ability to adapt to a rural and dynamic emergency care environment About the Assignment This position offers the chance to work in a well-established hospital in the scenic Northwoods of Wisconsin, with a mostly single coverage setup complemented occasionally by APCs.
