Registered Nurse - Newborn Nursery/Level II NICU

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Newborn Nursery/Level II NICU team. The RN will provide high-quality care to newborns, ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive environment. Candidates should be well-versed in NRP and possess relevant nursing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to newborn patients.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient needs.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate parents on newborn care and health matters.
• Assist with emergency procedures as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• NRP certification required; PALS and STABLE certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the newborn nursery or NICU setting.
• Experience with patient care in high-acuity situations is preferred.
