Program Support Specialist- Early Childhood Education About the Role: The Program Support Specialist serves as a critical operational support role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of program activities, front desk operations, and facility coordination. This position is often the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors, providing high-quality customer service while supporting administrative, logistical, and compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What this Role involves: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, families, and staff, providing excellent customer service Manage front desk operations, including phone calls, visitor access, and general inquiries Support program operations by coordinating supplies, materials, and staff requests Maintain inventory and order office and classroom supplies Assist with data entry, attendance tracking, and document management Coordinate room scheduling, meetings, and events Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries Support facility upkeep and submit maintenance or IT requests as needed Assist with safety procedures, including drills and emergency protocols Provide general administrative and operational support to program staff Provide classroom support by assisting teachers and supporting student learning Required to drive the small bus as needed Supervise 2 associates (front desk associate and bus driver) What we are looking for: Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Experience: 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or program support experience 6 months+ of Early Childhood classroom experience Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams) and general office systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills A proactive, reliable, and adaptable team player Excellent customer service mindset Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands What we offer: 16+ paid company holidays Spring Break and Winter Break - up to 10 paid days off Accrued vacation time (starting at 10 days/year, up to 30 with tenure) Paid sick time Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage Life and AD&D insurance Mental health support through our medical plan and EAP Long-term disability coverage 401(k) with 5% employer match after 1 year FSA plans College 529 investment options Identity theft protection and more Compensation: $24.00- $27.00 per hour Clayton's Core Values At Clayton Early Learning, we believe that our core values help to drive actions and create habits that allow our belief in the unlimited potential of young children to become a reality.
