(55%)* Completes documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness e.g., charting, billing, IPOC, patient/family education. (20%)* Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies. (20%)* Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed. (5%)* Performs other duties as assigned or required.**QUALIFICATIONS:**Minimum* Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.* Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).* Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) National Board of Respiratory Care required prior to the expiration of the Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).* CPR – American Heart Association.* Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.* Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.* Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.Preferred* Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care RRT* Two years' experience in pulmonary/respiratory medicine in a hospital setting.***Disclaimer:*** *The job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this job title.
