The client is undertaking a comprehensive, multi-year modernization initiative to replace its aging legacy systems, including the retirement of the ALICE platform, and transition to a unified cloud-native environment. The project includes development of MyPAS 3.0, a custom Azure-hosted pension administration system. The modernization environment includes technologies such as Angular, REST APIs, Azure SQL Managed Instances, Azure Function Apps, Power BI, document management, and process automation solutions. - Perform all aspects of application development, including coding, unit testing, documentation, code reviews, and pull requests
- Develop, enhance, and maintain application components that meet functional and technical requirements
- Develop APIs, system interfaces, and automation workflows
- Translate technical specifications into maintainable, production-ready software
- Develop clear and actionable user stories and maintain a prioritized backlog
- Work within established SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Understand business processes, functional design principles, documentation standards, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Deliver high-quality software with minimal defects
- Collaborate effectively with developers, technical staff, analysts, testers, and project managers
- Manage multiple development assignments and meet established timelines
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills:
- C# / .NET
- Web API
- Angular 16+
- SQL
- Azure DevOps
- Git
- Computer Science or MIS degree is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
