Join a dynamic, hospital-based OB/GYN program at one of Florida's leading regional healthcare facilities. Our organization is recognized as a Level I Trauma Center and holds a Level III Maternity Care designation, offering extensive and intricate obstetrical and gynecological services in a cutting-edge environment.

This opportunity is tailored for physicians eager to engage in high-level inpatient obstetrics without the demands of clinic duties or on-call responsibilities.

What Sets Our Women's Care Hospitalist Program Apart?
  • Employed hospitalist model

  • Full-time position with an average of 7 shifts, each lasting 24 hours, per month

  • No on-call duties. No clinic work. No outpatient responsibilities.

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of 2 experienced OB/GYN physicians and certified nurse midwives available 24/7

This is not a low-risk community obstetrics unit; it involves hospital-based obstetrics in a tertiary care environment.

Work in our state-of-the-art Women’s & Children’s Pavilion, specifically designed to enhance maternal and neonatal care.

  • Level III Maternity Care designation

  • Level III NICU

  • On-site Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists

  • In-house Neonatology services

  • 17 Labor & Delivery rooms

  • 33 Postpartum rooms

  • 7 Antepartum rooms

  • 8 OBED rooms

  • 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage*

  • 4 operating rooms dedicated to women’s health

As a Level I Trauma Center, our facility provides comprehensive multidisciplinary support, ensuring access to surgical subspecialties, critical care, interventional services, and rapid-response teams at all times.

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency

  • Preferred 3+ years of post-training experience

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABOG or AOBOG)

  • Florida medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)

  • Confidence in managing high-risk obstetrics within a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced setting
