Together, we're creating a legacy that goes beyond business—one that's changing the world for the better.Pay rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourWorking hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.The welder position is responsible for fabricating structural steel support frame assemblies, for packaged pumping systems utilizing GMAW/MIG process.In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:Job Knowledge Requirements:Hand tool and power tool operationPrint reading knowledgeStructural welding in flat and vertical down positionsGeneral plasma torch operation for burning/cuttingCut/drill/thread steelOverhead crane and hoist operationStructural welding in the overhead positionPlasma torch for beveling pipeWelding stainless and black pipe non-ASMEPreferred Qualifications/Education/Experience:Completion of five (5) years on the job experience, or welding technology course plus 3 years on the job experience.Proficient in the use of both gas and electric welding equipment.Proficient in the use of cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping and threading machinery.Able to read and follow fabrication drawings without supervision.Five (5) years' experience in "job shop" production welding of structural assemblies.Five (5) years' experience in welding of pressurized hydraulic assemblies and piping.Must possess the ability to perform proper computer functions.Must perform to established production rates.Benefits:Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance on the first day of employment401k match up to 5%Paid HolidaysPaid Time OffEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Annual safety shoe and safety glasses reimbursement
