TITLE
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

SCHEDULE
Night Flex - 1900-0730

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Weeks: 13

REQUIREMENTS
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required
- Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon arrival, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
- Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition, ensuring that critical cases are attended to first.
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to treatments, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with the medical team, including physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Accurately document patient information and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts as required.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Participate in required education for relevant programs as applicable to position.
