Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER RN) travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date: 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 3x12 night shift in a critical access hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,998 to $2,110. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, triage, and stabilization upon arrival in the ER.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments per physician orders; perform emergency procedures such as wound care and splinting.
- Monitor patient status continuously, interpret changes, and adjust interventions with the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff; document care in appropriate health records.
- Respond to rapid response calls and code blue situations; uphold infection control and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
- CRASE training: If travel assignment extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required.
- Experience: None required; prior clinical experience preferred.
- Physical and situational prerequisites: ability to perform essential ER nursing duties, work long 12-hour night shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods.
