Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic healthcare team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory therapy services to patients in need of respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform basic treatment therapy, including the administration of aerosolized medication via Oral Inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI.
Provide airway clearance techniques including Chest Physiotherapy (CPT) and Incentive Spirometry.
Administer Oxygen Therapy and manage CPAP/BIPAP therapy.
Conduct arteriocentesis as needed.

Work Requirements

Weekends and Holidays are required, with a commitment to working Thanksgiving Day or the day after, and Christmas or Christmas Eve.
No on-call responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in respiratory therapy is required; travel experience is preferred.
Candidates must be RRT certified; CRT certifications will not be accepted.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
A valid license to practice in the state of Tennessee is required at the time of application.
Epic experience within the last 18 months is mandatory, with details to be provided in the application. A completion of additional unbillable hours may be required if the EPIC test is not passed.

Working Hours

This position requires a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 18:45 to 07:15.
