Production Lead

Production Lead Person Full time Temp-to-Hire, daytime work schedule M-Fr Position Summary Our client is seeking a Production Lead to support day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role is part of the plant leadership team and works closely with the Production Manager to drive production output, maintain quality standards, and support continuous improvement efforts within an assigned area and shift. Primary Responsibilities Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet delivery timelines Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance on daily operations Identify and recommend improvements to production methods, equipment, and product quality Troubleshoot production issues in coordination with management and engineering Ensure adherence to internal policies and quality system procedures Organize and manage materials staged for production builds Track and review labor records, addressing discrepancies as needed Required Qualifications Experience in a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret electro-mechanical drawings and communicate details to team members Preferred Skills Ability to collaborate with other departments on staffing, skill development, and cross-training Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Willingness to train and mentor employees Strong organizational and basic math skills Willingness to assist with hands-on production work when needed IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification or experience is a plus Ability to enforce policies and lead by example Physical Requirements Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as needed Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Pay Rate $27.00 – $35.00/hour, depending on experience Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
