Cath Lab Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) with 8-12 days of call per month.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures. The role requires expertise in managing patients pre- and post-procedure, as well as performing necessary assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer procedural sedation and monitor its effects.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Perform catheterizations and related procedures while ensuring patient safety.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and provide appropriate interventions.
• Document patient care and procedural outcomes in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS.
• Experience with STEMI and Vascular call required.
• Must be able to take call for emergencies and stand by for patient emergencies.
