CNC Machinist II - Horizontal

As a CNC Machinist II (Horizontal) , you will be responsible for independently setting up and operating horizontal machining centers, machining complex components to tight tolerances, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Pay: $26-$33/hour

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC horizontal machining centers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
• Adjust offsets, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters.
• Perform fixture setup and changeovers.
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot common machining and tooling issues.
• Machine components to moderate and tight tolerances.
• Support process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to independently perform machine setups.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and inspection equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
