Forklift Operator-2nd Shift

Volt is immediately hiring 1st or 2nd shift Forklift Operator in Wharton, NJ.

1st Shift: 6:00 am - 5:00 pm

2nd Shift: 6:30 pm - 6:00 am

As a Forklift Operator, you will:

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels, and production schedules.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
• Help with pallet restacks.

This is a Full time, Contract to Hire opportunity.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience operating 6,000 lbs forklifts in an outdoor yard environment.
• Forklift Certification High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling & preventive maintenance duties (lubrication, cleaning, battery change).
• Ability to successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.00 Per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
