Lead Superintendent

Location: Moab, Utah Project Type: Ground-Up Hotel and Mixed-Use Development Project Value: Approximately $70 million Employment Type: Full-Time Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Hire About the Company Our client is a nationally recognized commercial general contractor delivering complex ground-up construction projects across the United States. Due to continued growth and the award of a major project in Moab, Utah, they are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead the construction of a high-profile, approximately $70 million hotel and mixed-use development. Responsibilities Lead all field operations for a ground-up, $70 million hotel and mixed-use construction project. Manage daily site activities to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field personnel and project stakeholders. Develop, maintain and communicate short-term and long-term construction schedules. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards. Maintain quality-control standards throughout all phases of construction. Review construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings and project documentation. Identify and resolve field issues before they affect cost, quality or schedule. Coordinate inspections and maintain relationships with local authorities and inspectors. Manage daily reports, RFIs, punch lists and other field documentation. Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor costs, procurement and overall project progress. Attend owner, architect, consultant and subcontractor meetings. Lead project turnover, commissioning, punch-list completion and final closeout. Qualifications At least eight years of experience as a Superintendent on large ground-up commercial construction projects. Proven experience managing projects valued between $50 million and $100 million or more. Hotel, hospitality, resort or mixed-use construction experience is strongly preferred. Ability to work on-site in Moab, Utah for the duration of the project. Strong leadership, subcontractor-management and problem-solving skills. Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling and field operations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contracts. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Project is highly desirable. Strong communication, organization and documentation skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr Centurion Selection
