Site The General Hospital Corporation Job Summary LICSW/LMHC $3K Sign-On Bonus for eligible Non-MGB employees The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW/LMHC) provides clinical services with patients and families that address psychological, psychosocial, environmental, age‑specific, and cultural and linguistic issues to maximize emotional, social and physical well‑being. The role focuses on children and families and facilitates the effective use of health care and community resources. The LCSW/LICSW/LMHC conducts psychosocial assessments, develops treatment plans and delivers interventions as indicated. The position functions as part of the Behavioral Health Department and interdisciplinary health care staff in blended primary care/population health models, as well as within school systems identified in collaborative care models. Responsibilities also include providing social work consultation to other disciplines within the Health Center, schools and community; facilitating clinical education of social work interns or staff; and participating in departmental and Health Center‑wide task forces and committees. Qualifications MSW or MA MHC / M Ed for LMHC applicants Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Clinical Experience In Medical Setting 0-1 Year required – Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW – State License required) 2-3 Years required – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW – State License required) 3-5 Years required – Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC – State License required) Experience 3-5 years post‑graduate experience working with children and adolescents in mental health or school‑based settings preferred Educational background and experience caring for medically underserved populations preferred Experience serving residents of public housing preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrates personal qualities of leadership and knowledge of health care and school‑based systems Strong assessment and treatment skills Good organizational skills Effective oral and written communication Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective team collaboration Good problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills Ability to work well collaboratively and independently Foundational knowledge and commitment to professional values and ethics Fundamental skills in formulation, risk assessment, crisis intervention, completion of psychosocial treatment plans, and documentation Participation in department/service initiatives and data‑driven progress measurement Supervised work that may need assistance in promoting collaboration among health care team members, colleagues, and the organization Additional Job Details Provide care in a school‑based health center located in Charlestown High School during the school year Provide care in an ambulatory setting located in public housing; meet with clients in offices and primary care settings Remote Type Onsite Work Location 15-33 Tufts Street Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Employee Type Regular Work Shift Day (United States of America) Pay Range $70,990.40 – $101,202.40 Annual EEO Statement 1200 The General Hospital Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
