Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BMT)/Immunotherapy Fellow

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology are jointly recruiting a full-time advanced fellow at the Research Associate/Acting Instructor level. This is a full-time, 12-month service period, annual appointment. The primary appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. Responsibilities This is a year-long fellowship program with the goal of becoming an expert in BMT and immunotherapy. Rotations will include outpatient and inpatient BMT (autologous and allogeneic, long-term follow-up, etc.) and immunotherapy services. The fellow will initially function as a primary provider with direct patient care responsibilities and will have increasing levels of clinical team leadership over the course of the year. Approximately 8 months will be devoted to clinical activities with the remaining time available for clinically focused research projects. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have an MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent) American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) eligible or certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology (or foreign equivalent). Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate should have a career interest in hematopoietic cell transplantation and/or immunotherapy and should have completed a fellowship in hematology or hematology-oncology (or foreign equivalent). Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is from $130,000 to $164,986, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
