Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a two-year vocational maintenance training program or apprenticeship program emphasizing industrial maintenance are required. The ideal candidate would have experience in the following areas;Must have 5+ years' experience in an industrial maintenance role, with strong mechanical & electrical skills.Must have a working knowledge of PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Able to identify problems and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment downtime.Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, drawings, and service manuals.Must be computer literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.JOB PREREQUISITES:Ability to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work a 40-hour week. Sometimes, it may be necessary to work additional hours to accomplish the required tasks and meet deadlines.Highly motivated and well-organized.Maintain high personal standards of quality.Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and effectively communicate with management and direct reports. Should have the ability to recognize communication gaps and appropriately address them.Excellent problem-solving and team motivational skills are a must.Must be flexible, adapt to work environment changes, and manage competing demands.
