Job Title: Staff Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Emergency Department License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have:
- Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing
- Collaboration skills
- Communication skills (verbal & written)

- Organizational understanding

- Problem-solving skills
- Quality and reliability
- Safety and risk management Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities.
The RN focuses on the prevention of illness and injury and the alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human responses.
The RN advocates for individuals and families in their care.
The RN is responsible for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with nursing practice regulations.
The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, delegating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a group of patients.
The RN serves as a primary nurse and/or accountable nurse when designated by unit assignment.
