Portfolio/Investment Compliance Officer

Job Description

Our client, a prominent hedge fund, is looking to hire a compliance officer to support their investment guideline compliance program.

Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Manage portfolio compliance across a broad and expanding global investment platform, ensuring effective oversight of investment activities.
    • \n
  • Interpret investment restrictions, client mandates, and regulatory standards, translating requirements into practical compliance parameters and controls.
    • \n
  • Direct ongoing pre- and post-trade surveillance for designated portfolios to ensure compliance with applicable investment guidelines and regulatory obligations.
    • \n
  • Investigate compliance breaches and monitoring alerts, determine appropriate resolutions, and escalate significant matters with recommendations for remediation.
    • \n
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and testing of compliance rules within monitoring platforms to ensure accurate and reliable oversight.
    • \n
  • Evaluate existing compliance processes and controls, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement enhancements to strengthen the overall control framework.
    • \n

Requirements

  • 5+ years of compliance experience
    • \n
  • Experience with a fund supporting investment guidelines
    • \n
