Regional Nurse Manager (RN)Texas Oncology is looking for a Regional Nurse Manager (RN) to join our team! This position will support the West Texas Region. This is a full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm position with no weekends, call, or major holidays. The position is hybrid, requiring travel to multiple sites across the region and some remote days. The markets within the Region: El Paso, Midland, Odessa, Amarillo, Wichita Falls, Abilene. Abilene-Physically on-site when needed, with a minimum of every other month. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.The essential duties and responsibilities:Ensure clinical operations and practice consistent with organizational objectives Collaborates with practice management to provide support on operational projects such as site Quality Committees, Quality Oncology Practice Initiative site assessments, Advancing Care Information, the Oncology Care Model (OCM), and other special projects as assigned.Facilitates the implementation and/or utilization of outcomes data and evidence-based practicesFacilitates implementation of standardized best practices within the organization. Ensures practice standards of care are consistent with community standards of care.Ensures the incorporation of clinical evidence into existing and newly developed standards.Staff Development Assess staffing levels and issues, patient flow, current practices in the clinical setting.Assists with the development of company-wide clinical competency testing and skills validation programs.Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules and coordinates employee staffing including vacations, sick leave and overtime.Other duties as assigned.The ideal candidate for the Regional Nurse Manager (RN) will have the following background and experience:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse.3 years of oncology experience PREFERRED3 years of leadership experience PREFERREDOCN certification preferred: Required within 24 monthsCurrent CPR certification required.Traditional office environment. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. May require standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
