Shipping and Receiving Lead

Shipping And Receiving SupervisorHours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pmPay: $25.00 - $29.00/HRDuties:Lead daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials and finished goods.Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while meeting customer delivery requirements and company quality standards.Supervise and support shipping and receiving personnel, providing guidance and prioritizing workloads as needed.Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition.Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and transaction processing.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials.Coordinate with production, warehouse, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product flow.Monitor shipping schedules and resolve shipment discrepancies or delays.Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records in accordance with company procedures.Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.Train team members on shipping, receiving, inventory, and safety procedures.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred.Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.At least 2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.Forklift experience required; certification preferred.Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping documentation.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency with computers, inventory systems, and shipping software preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, pull, and move materials throughout the workday.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.What does Express offer to you?Weekly paychecks!Vision InsuranceMedical PlanDental Plan401(K) Retirement Savings PlanLife InsuranceReferral Bonuses (Earn up to $125 for each person you refer to Express!)Why Express Employment Professionals, Appleton WI?Express, Appleton WI placed over 1,350 people in 2024 just in the Appleton area!We provide our associates with excellent comprehensive and competitive benefits!When you apply to us, you apply to 100+ companies in the Fox Valley!Over 170 people were hired to a permanent position in 2024.
