Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs upon their visit to our outpatient office.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor and document each patient's treatment progress, noting improvements and making necessary adjustments to their care plans as required.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions affecting motor functions, therapeutic goals, and self-care techniques to facilitate their recovery.
• Actively collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive integrated and holistic care, contributing to better health outcomes.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance your skills and maintain a high level of professional knowledge within the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse group of patients, including young athletes recovering from sports injuries, seniors seeking rehabilitation after surgery, and individuals managing chronic pain or mobility issues. This role requires a compassionate approach, as you will guide patients through their rehabilitation journeys—helping them to regain independence and improve their overall health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in word processing and management of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting to the varying needs of patients.
• Prior professional experience is recommended, but new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, having at least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is ideal. Candidates with experience in outpatient therapy settings, home care, or specialized musculoskeletal rehabilitation will be at an advantage. Compensation and Benefits
