Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of each patient's physical abilities and limitations.
• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they understand and apply treatment protocols effectively.
• Conduct thorough assessments using diagnostic tools to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities, adapting plans as needed for optimal patient engagement and recovery.
• Provide manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and education on rehabilitation strategies to motivate and support patients in their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, aligned with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in interdisciplinary case conferences to develop holistic care plans and updates tailored to each patient's evolving needs.
• Consult and educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic devices, ensuring they understand their application in everyday life to maximize independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient setting, you will work with a varied demographic of patients, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and geriatric conditions. Our focus is on providing comprehensive, empathetic support to each patient, enabling them to regain their quality of life and independence through tailored rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida is required.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience in outpatient settings.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on patient engagement and family collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills with a commitment to clinical excellence and continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

Experience within an outpatient physical therapy environment is preferred, with exposure to a variety of rehabilitation techniques and protocols. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
