Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial assessments of patients, evaluating their physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices aligned with patients' goals and physician orders.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and treatments, including manual therapy, modalities, gait training, and functional activities to address the patients' unique needs.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of therapy interventions, ensuring adherence to the care plan and high standards of patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment approaches as necessary, maintaining clear communication with the interdisciplinary team and documenting changes in patient status.
• Conduct home evaluations to assess environmental barriers and recommend modifications that enhance patient independence and safety.
• Prepare detailed clinical records including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, contributing to a cohesive and comprehensive patient history.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, home exercises, and the proper use of assistive devices to foster autonomous recovery.
• Engage with patients actively, creating a motivating environment that encourages participation and promotes optimal recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
