Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions, considering input from interdisciplinary team members when available.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient, ensuring alignment with the overall continuum of care.
• Maintain adherence to the State Practice Act and Standards of Practice while delivering care that demonstrates safety and efficacy.
• Utilize professional equipment skillfully, ensuring proper maintenance and care, while also providing clear explanations to patients regarding their use.
• Document all treatment activities accurately, securing all necessary records for compliance and billing processes.
• Provide timely re-evaluations, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on the progress and changing needs of patients.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance their recovery process.
• Demonstrate knowledge relevant to the age-specific needs of all patients on your caseload, providing appropriate interventions and care.
• Maintain professional licensure in Florida, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited program in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
