The facility operates with an open ICU model and offers physician-owned housing accommodations, along with 24-hour availability of key support services including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) – Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide standard solo emergency room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7A-7P and 7P-7A)
• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift with a daily department volume of 90-100 patients
• Work alongside 2 mid-level providers in a 1 physician/2 mid-level split coverage model
• EMR system in use is Meditech 6.1
• Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS – providers not meeting this requirement will not be considered
• Must hold an active NC medical license or IMLC
• Board certification required (minimum certified)
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
• Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments
• Travel costs capped at $500.00
