This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dietitian who enjoys working collaboratively with nursing, culinary, and interdisciplinary teams to improve the health and quality of life of older adults. Schedule & Perks Part‑Time Position (16-24 hours a week) Flexible schedule Collaborative interdisciplinary team Beautiful waterfront campus in Annapolis Opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day What You’ll Do As our Registered Dietitian, you’ll play an essential role in supporting resident health through nutrition assessment, education, and collaboration with our healthcare and culinary teams. Complete nutrition assessments and participate in interdisciplinary care planning Review and ensure appropriate therapeutic diet orders Document nutrition assessments and interventions within the electronic medical record (EMR) Monitor residents’ nutritional status and recommend interventions as appropriate Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families Meet with residents during meal service to evaluate satisfaction and nutritional needs Assist new residents with successful dining transitions Support hydration and nutrition initiatives throughout the community Collaborate with nursing, physicians, speech therapy, and culinary leadership to optimize resident outcomes Assist with seasonal menu development and nutritional analysis Support infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance initiatives Conduct staff education and in‑service training on nutrition‑related topics Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and organizational standards Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications College degree in Nutrition or related field; master’s preferred Registered/licensed dietitian with maintained licensure Minimum five years’ experience in a healthcare environment preferred Ability to organize, supervise, delegate, and provide leadership Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Professional presentation and demeanor Concern, responsiveness, and tact when dealing with colleagues, residents, and families Ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve wellness goals for residents Willingness to complete state‑regulated educational requirements within the specified time‑frame Benefits & Perks Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer match Paid time off (accrual‑based) Tuition assistance and scholarship programs Employee referral bonus program Annual bonus opportunities Employee recognition programs Additional voluntary (ancillary) benefits Ginger Cove is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other classification protected by applicable law.
